かごめ救出に向かった犬夜叉は、弟の満天を倒す。満天が持っていた四魂のかけらを喰い、妖力を取り入れた飛天は、雷撃刃で犬夜叉を攻撃。鉄砕牙の鞘で防ぐ犬夜叉は窮地に。が、鞘が折れると見えたその時、鞘が刀を呼ぶ。鉄砕牙を押し込んだ犬夜叉は飛天に勝つ。
English Summary:
A battle ensues between Inuyasha and Hiten. Meanwhile, Shippo uses his illusory tricks to distract Manten from Kagome. Inuyasha successfully murders Manten with Tetsusaiga. Hiten bites into Manten's forehead to fuse himself with the shards of the Shikon Jewel obtained, increasing twofold in strength. Separated from Tetsusaiga, Inuyasha seems powerless to defeat Hiten. However, the sword is summoned by the sheath, allowing Inuyasha to deliver the final blow.
