毒蛾妖怪・蛾羅丸の繭に閉じこめられたかごめたちは、それぞれの悪夢に苦しめられる。現実の中、ひとり戦う犬夜叉は、ついに蛾羅丸を倒すが、妖術の繭は消えない。繭の中でかごめたちが蛾に変化していく。焦る犬夜叉は仲間達に呼びかける。それはかつて犬夜叉が励ました言葉になって仲間達の心に届く。目覚めたかごめたちはそれぞれ繭を自力で破って生還。破られた繭の向こうに揺らぎを見つけた犬夜叉が鉄砕牙で結界を切って、一同は蛾羅丸の嘆きの森から脱出する。
English Summary:
Garamaru, the brother of the moth demon Gatenmaru, appears to seek revenge on Inuyasha by encasing all his friends within cocoons. This would transform them into moth demons as their worst fears plague them. Meanwhile, Inuyasha is to prevent Garamaru from devouring the souls of his friends. He can reach into the dreams of his friends, urging them to overcome their anxieties.
