子狐妖怪・五兄弟が、七宝を勇者と信じ、必殺技「風の傷」を会得したいと弟子入り。だが、教えられない七宝は、誤魔化そうとして見栄を張り、最近仲良くなった村娘のみずきを化かし、怒らせてしまう。そこへ、村を荒らす悪い妖怪が現れた。失恋と傷心の七宝は、「心の傷！」と叫んで妖怪に噛みつく。五兄弟も習い、ついに妖怪を倒す。「心の傷」を会得し、満足した五兄弟は親探しのため旅立つ。一方、村に戻った七宝はみずきに嫌われていた。「なんで嫌われた？」配慮ない犬夜叉に七宝は「心の傷！」と噛みつく。
English Summary:
Several young fox yōkai, searching for their parents, mistake Shippo for a hero when Inuyasha recently destroyed a demon with his Wind Scar. Shippo meets a girl named Mizuki at a local village. They turn to Shippo for help, assuming he is the leader of his group. The young fox yōkai manipulates Shippo to fight against a salamander demon, but he chooses to avoid the situation. They later convince him into betraying Mizuki, much to his dismay. When the salamander demon returns, Shippo uses Biting, a move in which his sharp teeth become a weapon, to defeat the salamander demon.
