『坤の刃』で鉄砕牙の妖力を奪った星黄泉はかごめを捕らえ、風雷神社まで来いと告げて去る。犬夜叉VS玄武、弥勒VS白虎、珊瑚VS青龍、秋時＆七宝VS朱雀。四人衆の妖忍法に翻弄される犬夜叉たち。一方、神社に運び込まれたかごめは、星黄泉が人間の女・月黄泉に裏切られ、乾坤の薙刀を奪われて封印されたが、復活したことを知る。かごめから奪った霊力で力を得た坤の刃は、秋時が守っていた乾の刃を風雷神社に呼び寄せる。犬夜叉たちは辛くも妖忍たちを倒すが、乾の刃は星黄泉に渡り、乾坤の薙刀が完成してしまう。
English Summary:
Hoshiyomi holds Kagome Higurashi captive to unite the Ken Blade with the Kon Blade. The rest of Inuyasha's group has been scattered by the pentagram barrier surrounding the shrine created by Hoshiyomi. Each is encountered by one of the four ninja yōkai, proving to be worthy opponents, as Inuyasha's group struggles to defeat them. The bitter Hoshiyomi reveals to Kagome his own tragic close romantic relationship with a high-ranking human priestess named Tsukiyomi. He believes that he must kill humans by reuniting the two blades to save humankind. Miroku uses his Wind Tunnel to vacuum the four ninja yōkai into the vortex. Hoshiyomi summons the two blades together to form the Naginata of Kenkon.
