奈落の新たな分身・獣郎丸と影郎丸が、犬夜叉達に襲いかかってきた。かごめの危機に舞い戻った鋼牙は、犬夜叉と悪口を言いながら、２体の妖怪と闘うが、土に潜る影郎丸に苦戦。珊瑚は毒薬を使い、影郎丸の動きを封じる。影郎丸が獣郎丸の体内に戻り、飛び出してきた所を諸共に斬り、退治する犬夜叉。一緒に斬られそうになった鋼牙は、間一髪難を逃れ、かごめの空々しい礼を真に受けて退散する。だが、犬夜叉は鋼牙との仲を勘ぐる。腹を立てたかごめは実家に帰ると言い出す。
English Summary:
Koga wants to defeat Naraku to avenge the deaths of his wolf yōkai tribe. Naraku presents his newest incarnate detachment, Juromaru, challenging Koga to a match. Inuyasha soon shows up and combats against Juromaru, later discovering that Kageromaru lies dormant within Juromaru. Despite protecting Kagome, Inuyasha and Koga reluctantly team up to fight against the devastatingly fast duo. Inuyasha destroys Juromaru and Kageromaru by way of the Tetsusaiga's Wind Scar.
