かごめを襲った無双は犬夜叉の風の傷で粉砕された。様子を監視していた奈落は神楽に、無双の行方を犬夜叉に伝えよと指示。犬夜叉達が去った後、無双は再生して復活していた。安全確保のため現代に戻ることになったかごめだが、楓から鬼蜘蛛が匿われた洞窟の話を聞き、洞窟に向かってしまう。その洞窟に来ていた無双は野盗鬼蜘蛛の記憶を取り戻すが、そこへかごめが来た。桔梗に執着する無双は桔梗似のかごめを捕らえようとする。一方、鬼蜘蛛の心を捨て、桔梗を始末しようとする奈落だが、無双を切り離したことで異変が生じ、立ち去る。洞窟に駆けつけた犬夜叉は無双相手に苦戦する。
English Summary:
Inuyasha slices Muso to pieces using the Wind Scar, unknowing that Muso can slowly reconstitute himself. While Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, and Shippo encounter Kagura, Kagome and Kaede investigate Onigumo's cave once again, where it is found out that Muso is headed that way as well. Muso's memory has been restored, recalling the birth of Naraku.
