猫を嫌うネズミ妖怪の鉄鼠は祈祷師に化け、邪魔な猫又のクロロを追い出してしまう。旅の途中の犬夜叉達は、クロロと見間違え、雲母を村から追い払おうとした村人と出会い、祈祷師を怪しいと睨む。一方、七宝は、クロロと友達の娘、こうめと出会い、追い出されたクロロを一緒に探してやる。だが、正体を現した鉄鼠はネズミを操り、村中を食い尽くそうとする。七宝はこうめを守りながらクロロと共に鉄鼠に立ち向かう。そこへ駆けつけた犬夜叉は、鉄鼠を風の傷で退治する。
English Summary:
Kuroro, a two-tailed demon cat of a village, is the reason behind the bad luck befalling the village, being sent into exile by a faith healer named Tesso. Shippo witnesses a girl named Koume taking away Kirara, being mistaken as Kuroro. Shippo and Koume later find Kuroro after being hoarded with a plague of rats. Meanwhile, Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, and Sango realize that Tesso is a rat demon who has elusive powers. Kuroro can reunite the two parties to defeat Tesso.
