犬夜叉は、ひとり刀々斎の仕事場を訪れた。悟心鬼に折られ、犬夜叉の牙で修復したため、父の大妖怪の強さと釣り合わず重い刀になった鉄砕牙。扱いきれずに手放せば、犬夜叉は命を守るために妖怪に変化してしまう。刀々斎は、竜骨精を斬れと助言する。犬夜叉の父と戦い致命傷を負わせたが、封印された竜骨精。斬れば父を越えられ、鉄砕牙が軽くなるはず。しかし、そこへ現れた奈落が封印の爪を溶かしてしまった。復活する竜骨精。挑みかかる犬夜叉だが、次第に劣勢に追い込まれる。かごめ達は刀々斎を訪ね、竜骨精の谷に急ぐ。しかし、危機に陥った犬夜叉は、妖怪に変化しかけていた。
English Summary:
Hoping to find a way to wield the Tetsusaiga, Inuyasha goes to Totosai, who instructs him to slay Ryukotsusei, a dragon daiyōkai who was sealed into a dormant sleep with one of the claws of Inuyasha's father, Inu no Taisho. Therefore, achieving this task will gain Inuyasha the strength required to lift his reforged sword. This backfires when Naraku comes to awaken the dragon. Inuyasha cannot fight as Ryukotsusei repeatedly attacks with the Thunder Attack Bullet. The giant pure white energy orbs launched out of his mouth.
