命の危機に陥った犬夜叉はついに妖怪に変化してしまう。巨大な蛾となった蛾天丸も一瞬で粉砕、逃げ惑う野盗もその爪にかけ、止めるかごめの声も聞こえない。そこへ、殺生丸が現れた。朴仙翁が語った「妖怪の血に心を喰われる」状態の犬夜叉を見た殺生丸は、闘鬼神でその動きを完全に封じ、鉄砕牙で変化を解くように告げて、その場を立ち去った。それはまるで犬夜叉の暴走を止めに来たようにも見えた。正気に戻った犬夜叉だが、妖怪の血の暴走の間、何も覚えていなかった。
English Summary:
After his demonic transformation is complete, Inuyasha can break through the cocoon and destroy Gatenmaru. Though acquiring great power, he lacks a sense of control over himself as he kills indiscriminately. Sesshomaru arrives only to discover that the words of Bokusen'on were valid, as he gauges the power of his younger brother. After reverting to his hanyō state, Inuyasha agonizes for what he had done to the village.
