奈落が呼んだ巫女・椿は、50年前、四魂の玉を狙って桔梗に敗れ、若さを保つため妖怪に魂を売った黒巫女。奈落の企みに応じた椿は、式神を使って奪ったかごめの血で呪いをかけ、かごめの体内に汚れた四魂のかけらを入れてしまう。呪いを解くため、呪詛をかけた黒巫女を倒そうとする弥勒と珊瑚だが、椿の結界に阻まれてしまう。その結界に近づく桔梗は、椿の邪気に覚えがあった。一方、呪いの力でかごめを操る椿は、「犬夜叉を殺せ」と命じた。
English Summary:
Kagura summons the dark priestess Tsubaki in the presence of Naraku, who offers his fragment of the Shikon Jewel to her. In exchange, Tsubaki curses Kagome using her snakelike demon puppet Shikigami. As her shards of the Shikon Jewel are tainted black and are merged within her, Kagome is forced under Tsubaki's hypnosis. Though she is given the order to kill Inuyasha, Kagome tries her best to resist.
