殺生丸の爪の毒で目を塞がれた犬夜叉は、妖気のぶつかる匂いを頼りに、『風の傷』を読み、刀の真の力を引き出して、殺生丸を退ける。犬夜叉を使い手と認めた刀々斎は、鉄砕牙を研ぎ直して、去っていった。人間の少女・りんは、激しく傷ついた殺生丸を見つけ救おうとする。心動かされた殺生丸は、人喰い狼に襲われ命を落としたりんを天生牙の力で蘇生。 一方、四魂のかけらの気配を追う犬夜叉一行は、村を襲った狼を倒す。そこへ、つむじ風を伴って一人の男が現れた。新たな敵を前に緊迫する犬夜叉達。
English Summary:
As Inuyasha and Sesshomaru continue to duel to possess the Tetsusaiga, both brothers discover their respective inheritances' unexpected power and strength. After the fight, an injured Sesshomaru is helped by the young orphan Rin. Koga, the leader of the eastern wolf yōkai tribe, is seen attacking the villagers in search of the shards of the Shikon Jewel. Sesshomaru finds Rin, killed by Koga's wolves, and revives her using the Tenseiga, realizing its strength and power to heal and save lives.
As Inuyasha and Sesshomaru continue to duel to possess the Tetsusaiga, both brothers discover their respective inheritances' unexpected power and strength.
